Verstappen certainly hit the ground running at the beginning of the 2024 Formula One world championship, winning seven of the first 10 races. A fourth world title seemed a foregone conclusion, with it only remaining to be seen how many more records he would break. However, the Dutchman would then go the next 10 races without taking a single grand prix victory, with the Sprint Race at Austin his only success. This coincided with a resurgence from McLaren, Lando Norris taking great chunks out of the Red Bull man’s points lead.
